Packaging for Less-Than-Truck Load (LTL) Shipment

Freight damage in LTL transportation can often be greatly reduced with a few simple packaging changes.  Understanding common equipment and handling practices is very important to ensure damage free shipments using pallets, boxes, crates, strapping, and wrapping.  This presentation will offer some useful recommendations for good LTL packaging designs and methods along with the underlying conditions that drive them.

Pre-Shipment testing; a critical tool for achieving sustainability

Packaging sustainability is currently on everybody’s radar.  The question is not if we can do with or without packaging, but what and how much packaging has to be used.  Pre-shipment testing can be used to validate the sustainability balance formula.  This presentation will review the main standards available for pre-shipment testing in North America and how they can help you and your customers solve the sustainability balance formula, PRODUCT + PACKAGING = DISTRIBUTION.
