PAC – The Packaging Association is hosting a one-day HACCP course to assist plant managers and quality assurance personnel of packaging companies to become compliant with the IFS PACsecure food safety standard for individual packaging materials.
PAC has united with global standard owner IFS Management to achieve international recognition of the IFS PACsecure food safety standard.
IFS has more than 14,000 certifications for its Global Food Safety Standard (GFSI) recognized IFS Food Standard. In addition to packaging, it manages standards governing food processing, logistics, brokers, cash and carry/wholesale, household and personal care goods.
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarking of the IFS PACsecure standard is now completed and was publically announced on December 20, 2013. Read press release here. This course provides information leading to certification of the IFS PACsecure standard.
