image

Guided tour
Tour Montreal’s Sorting Center of Recyclable Material, where 200 000 tons of recyclable material is treated yearly. Owned by Groupe TIRU, this is the largest centre in Quebec tonnage-wise.

On a collection day, the center receives on average 150 truckloads of recyclable waste. This waste is sorted and treated and then close to 800 tons are transported to different recyclers.
