At Vergers Jodoin

At Vergers Paul Jodoin innovation and development occupies a prominent place.

Today, the company has over 600 acres of land and is the largest producers of apples in Quebec. In 2013, they inaugurated a new plant which has increased their storage capacity to over 15 000 000 pounds of apples and lets them optimize their production process. The state of the art refrigeration system and controlled atmosphere they implemented are entirely automated. This enables them to be energy efficient in their apple storage operations and quality control of their product.

Join us to see how their calibration system allows them to separate the apples by size, color and quality. The system is equipped with optical sensors capable of taking 3000 pictures per minute.

The plant tour will be followed by a business network opportunity at the restaurant Le Bistro Saint-Michel.
