Waste Management and PAC NEXT invite the packaging community to participate in an executive tour and networking lunch at the Azusa Material Recovery Facility (MRF)

WM Azusa is a new, state-of-the-art recycling processing facility that started-up in 2015. It is located in a 122,676 ft2 fully enclosed building with several LEED features. The single stream MRF can process up to 800 tons per day of recyclable materials which are sorted, and baled and then transported to end-user manufacturers.

PAC NEXT logo
PAC NEXT is an initiative of PAC The Packaging Consortium www.pac.ca with a vision of A World Without Packaging Waste. It's estimated that it costs greater than $10 billion to collect and recover packaging materials across North America with another $10 billion of valuable packaging materials ending up in landfill. Hence, the member led programs focus on bringing to life the PAC NEXT Way a set of core principles to minimize recovery system costs, while maximizing recycling rates and the value of recovered materials.

Join over 2,200 North American members that benefit from the vast networking opportunities through PAC's wide range of educational activities and events. PAC, Packaging Consortium is a not-for-profit corporation serving as a vital partner and catalyst for the packaging value chain for over 65 years.
