Certificate program courses
Each course is two or three days in duration,
including a plant tour. Companies hosting plant tours have the exclusive right to allow or deny participation in the plant tour.

1. May 2, 3, 4
Introduction to packaging, food preservation, packaging development, quality assurance, prepress processes, print processes and graphic design.

2. June 20, 21, 22
Introduction to polymers, rigid and semi-rigid plastics, flexible packaging and design basics for plastics.

3. September 19, 20, 21
Paperboard and folding cartons, corrugated fibreboard, box compression strength, distribution packaging, glass containers, aerosols, metal and packaging machinery.

4. NEW! October 24, 25
Sustainability - Packaging Optimization, Life Cycle Approach, Material Recovery Facility, Circular Economy, Consumer Trends, Setting Up for Success

8 AM - 4 PM daily.
