Do you want a closer look at how packaging litter and pollution impacts ocean and marine life?

Do you want to explore how solutions that drive a circular economy help to address packaging challenges and litter?

Do you want a better understanding of how businesses, packaging producers, and materials recovery management are working towards developing a circular economy?

The announcement of the G7 Ocean Plastics Charter and the movement to ban straws and other single-use items have drawn attention to the global issue of marine litter. Join us for this special event to gain more knowledge of the impacts of ocean plastics and to discuss the opportunities for the packaging value chain to address some of these issues. Hear insights from our panel of experts and from Ocean Wise's research team where they study the effects of pollution on marine life.

Registration also includes a tour of Vancouver Aquarium's special exhibition by Douglas Coupland. "Step into Vortex, take an imaginative journey to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, and immerse yourself in the ocean plastic pollution crisis. Coupland's exhibit will make you think about plastic - a seductive yet sinister material - in a relevant, contemplative, and transformative way."
