Metro Label Company started in 1974 from a humble beginning, one man and his dream. Today, it is still a family run business but ranks as one of the top 14 Tag & Label converters in North America (Package Printing June 2007 publication).
Their success is based not only on their employees but their belief that state of the art equipment, effective communication and commitment to excel are the key ingredients for converting quality labels.
Corporate Environmental & Sustainability Program
Metro Label Company is one of the first label companies in North America to have in place, a sustainable environmental program and policy. Their “Green” journey began in 2005, when their newly constructed corporate headquarters in Toronto, achieved LEED certification.
In recognition of their environmental goals and policies their company was awarded the Label Industry Global award for Sustainability and Environmental responsibility in 2008 and were awarded Environmental Excellence award by the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute in 2007.
