Primary Focus
The Packaging Material Specialist is responsible for the structural and material development of Molson packaging and is a technical resource to the Operations, Marketing, Procurement and other GQI functions.  The Packaging Material Specialist leads the packaging design and development process and works with other Molson functions and suppliers to identify and qualify packaging equipment.  The role is responsible for the qualification of materials and equipment through global research, rigorous scientific testing and approval and maintenance of structural and material specifications.

The Packaging Material Specialist role is project based, working both individually and as part of a cross functional team with the breweries, other corporate functions and with industry groups.  Technology and techniques from new introductions, changes to current packages and/or issue resolutions will be shared and implemented in the other production locations.  The incumbent has responsibility for a continuous, active search for new technologies, methods, equipment, materials, and systems to drive improvement in packaging performance within the supply chain.
