There is more to sustainable packaging then the package. Procurement, processing and logistics are all factors impacting sustainability.
PAC in partnership with SPC offers the 2-day course The Essentials of Sustainable Packaging as an excellent primer on how to implement best sustainable practices for packaging and related companies.

If your packaging materials are part of the food chain from farm to kitchen table, then you are in the food industry. Taking steps to ensure the proper handling of any materials that may come in contact with food is a requirement of due diligence. Working with committee of over 70 leading brand, consultants and the CFIA, PAC has developed PACsecure, HACCP based standards specific to packaging materials. PACsecure also offers supervisor level Train the Trainer as well as worker level training.
