Meegan has been working with BC’s Ministry of Environment for four years and as Head of the Industry Product Stewardship Section manages a staff of six policy analysts that work to develop, support and administer industry-led stewardship programs under the BC Recycling Regulation. BC currently has 20 approved industry-lead stewardship programs.”
Anne Bedarf joined GreenBlue in September 2007 as a project manager for the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. Anne leads the SPC’s How2Recycle Label project, which was soft launched nationally in 2012. She also manages and teaches the Essentials of Sustainable Packaging curriculum.
Alan Blake has recently ventured into the world of packaging and sustainability consulting after thirty years with Procter & Gamble. He spent the past twenty years working on global packaging development programs and most recently led P&G’s global work on packaging sustainability. Alan is a member of the Green-Blue Board of Directors, and has been a member of the SPC executive committee for the past three years. He is an advocate for life cycle thinking as a critical element of package design and is delighted to be talking about the Global Packaging Project Sustainability metrics.
Ken will provide an update on the growth of global packaging and his insights on the current capital agenda.
For the past 30 years, Scott has tackled product and waste management issues, for a start-up solid waste management company, a non-profit statewide environmental group, and several government agencies, such as the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority.

Harry serves on innovation and advisory councils for several major brand organizations and serves as a guest lecturer in academia, including the Kellogg Graduate School of Business.

Keith Fanta has worked at Procter and Gamble for eleven years in R&D covering product development, business franchise, and packaging development and design. He is currently working in the global packaging sustainability organization, where he leads a global network of packaging engineers. This network provides support to all P&G businesses to help them create plans to achieve 202 specified goals and to ensure sustainability is part of the P&G packaging culture. Keith is an active member in the Walmart Packaging Scorecard Supplier Team (PSST), the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, Ameripen, and one of the founding members of PAC NEXT.

During her long history with O-I, Ann has taken on a broad range of assignments, including roles in Manufacturing, Finance, Project Management, Market Development, and Information Technology.
She is a founding member, officer and board member of AMERIPEN, a new packaging association founded in early 2011.

As Target expands its retail operations into Canada, Laura is responsible for ensuring that all stewardship and compliance requirements are in place before the first Canadian Target stores open in 2013. In addition, her role is to execute Target’s sustainability program for Canada.
Brian will provide an overview of the results from two of KPMG’s recent studies: Competitive Alternatives, which compares international business location costs; and Canadian Manufacturing Outlook, which highlights leading trends and where Canadian manufacturers may be lagging.
Between 2009 and 2012, TerraCycle expanded run its recycling and upcycling fundraisers into 20 countries around the globe including Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brasil, UK, Ireland, most EU countries, Israel and Turkey. In 2010 TerraCycle was named the #288 fastest growing privately held company in America by Inc. Magazine’s Annual listing, the Inc. 500.
Anthony and his team are very active in the packaging sector, working with groups like P&G, Bayer and the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. Innovolve worked with PAC to help crystallize both the model and the marketing for what has become PAC NEXT, an industry collaboration imagining “A World Without Packaging Waste”.
