International event organizer UBM Canon to produce an advanced design and manufacturing event of co-located and synergistic trade shows and conferences November 14-15, 2012 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal.

The event is patterned on UBM Canon's successful inaugural and biennial Canadian event this past June in Toronto, which attracted nearly 7,000 industry professionals and is already rebooked for 60 percent of its exhibit space in 2013.

PACKEX Toronto 2011 was held from June 21-23, 2011 at the Toronto Congress Centre in Toronto, Ontario. See here for PAC booth and PAC member booth images. The conference was managed by its new owners, UBM Canon. The Director of Marketing, Dan Cutrone stated "Approximately 4,955 attending companies conducted 30, 427 project development meetings with 678 exhibitors" (based on 2011 compusystems verified lead counts).

Several conferences on industry packaging trends and technologies were held during the trade show managed by PAC – The Packaging Association, one of which was the Walmart Sustainable Packaging Conference V , which attracted a record 1000 attendees, selling out two weeks before the show!
