PAC has led North America in innovative, cutting-edge professional development for over 40 years, and with results to prove it. Your career and your company can benefit from this prestigious legacy.
This four-day program is specifically designed to equip you with the key packaging fundamentals including design, production, and use of packaging materials. It concentrates the 12-day PAC Packaging Certificate Program into a 4-day intensive overview.
A multifaceted approach for maximum results optimizes the learning experience for entry level employees and seasoned professionals alike. The course draws from the expertise of more than 100 industry resources that contributed to the Certificate Program curriculum — now distilled into four days. Several of these packaging experts contribute further as in-class resources, providing valuable insights into their respective fields.
Moderated by PAC Packaging Education Instructor and industry veteran Bill Leigh, the course features a comprehensive multi-media presentation, with handouts for students. Bill Leigh brings a wealth of knowledge developed over 30 years as a Packaging Materials Buyer & Graphics Manager with General Foods/Kraft Canada. He also served for over 20 years on the PAC National Board of Directors.
Students also receive the definitive packaging textbook, Fundamentals of Packaging Technology by Walter Soroka.
On-site plant tours demonstrate classroom theory in action. Exclusive to the PAC Education Program, the tours allow participants to examine first hand the complexities inherent in packaging systems and processes. These in-plant sessions are only made possible through PAC's professional development partnerships with leading member companies.
Receive professional recognition on a national scale by joining the ranks of Canada's packaging elite who have benefited from the PAC Packaging Education Program. More than just education, it's your path to success in an increasingly complex and highly competitive industry.
